LearnEnglish Kids is a safe website for children to use. The only negative aspect about this website is that children can run the risk of using it for prolonged amounts of time, which would ultimately be bad for their wellness. This website would be appropriate for being used in a computer lab that lasts no longer than 45 minutes. That way children would be able to learn from the website without spending so much time that they risk a health injury.
LearnEnglish Kids would be inappropriate in settings where children would not be monitored. In addition, it would be inappropriate for children to use this website for extended periods of time. Another time that it would be inappropriate for students is when there is very little lighting in the room. Unfortunately, the colors that are used on the website can hurt the eyes after looking at them for extended amounts of time.
There are two main ways in which this website can be modified in order to make it more appropriate. One way is for the developers to use a more neutral color that doesn't hurt the eyes as much. Another idea is that there could be less writing, and a bigger font, so that children don't strain their eyes too much. After both of those modifications are done, then the website will be better for students to be able to use.
